PicDial Principles

We built PicDial in an effort to enrich and optimize your experience while using your mobile phone.  We understand the importance of social networking and realize that the people closest to you are those that are contacts in your mobile phone.  By merging these two principles, we have developed a product that adds value to your mobile phone experience in multiple ways.

PicDial follows two ideals:

1. You are in control of the picture and status message friends see when you call.

PicDial's™ "Automatic Picture Caller ID" lets you share your socially utility (e.g. Facebook® / MySpace®) profile picture, or any picture taken with your phone, with your PicDial friends every time you call. When you change your picture or status message, it is automatically updated on your friends' phone.  You determine the picture others see when you call.

2. PicDial brings your Address Book to life.

PicDial brings your Address Book to life by dynamically augmenting contacts with pictures and status messages from your friends' social networks of choice. Pictures and status messages are automatically synchronized to your phone, and the PicDial Favorites Screen provides "picture dialing," letting you call or text by selecting a friend's image. This image is automatically retrieved from your social utility, such as Facebook or MySpace, or can be a picture manually added to the Favorite Screen.  Now when your friends call, their profile picture will display on your phone as Picture Caller ID. PicDial also provides you with a way to manage your entire address book online.  Once PicDial has been installed, your address book will constantly be backed up in real time, always providing you with an up to date copy of the contacts on your phone.  You may log into My Picdial to view your contacts.  From here, you can manually associate your friends profile pictures from their social utility, such as Facebook and/or MySpace.

PicDial's Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we collect and disseminates the personal information you decide to share, and help you make informed decisions when using PicDial. By using PicDial, you acknowledge receipt and review of, and agree to abide by, the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
